Bihar to set up separate department and mega centres for skill development
A new department is likely to be formed in Bihar by February-March. It will be called the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Currently the skill development work in the state comes under the Department of Labour Resources.

Bihar’s longest elevated road opened for vehicular movement
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday inaugurated 12.27 km long elevated road connecting Digha to AIIMS in the state capital. The project has been developed with a cost of Rs.1289.25 crore.
India officially in recession; GDP contracts 7.5% in July-Sept quarter
India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shrank by 7.5 per cent in the second quarter of 2020-21 after 23.9 per cent contraction in the first quarter. With two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth India has officially entered into recession.
