Bihar Assembly Election is scheduled to be held in October-November. This will be the first major election held in India after the Covid-19 outbreak. Coronavirus pandemic has brought disruptions in every walk of life. This is bound to have enormous impact on electioneering.

The most obvious impact is going to be in use of technology. Political parties are depending excessively on social networking technology to connect with their voters. What are the challenges and opportunities in use of social network? What are the cyber security threats?

The control of most of the social networking apps are outside India. The government recently banned 59 Chinese Apps citing threats to national security. About Mr. Shesh Sarangdhar

Shesh Sarangdhar is a Cyber Security Expert and CEO of Seclabs and Systems. Shesh is amongst the most innovative technology oriented security analysts in the country. His comments and views on emerging cyber and real-world threats have been published in several top-tier media outlets.

He has been working with multiple LEA building implementable solutions and providing inputs to prevent untoward incidents using ethical hacking, big data analytics and machine learning.
