NDA will provide 10 lakh government jobs before 2025 assembly polls in Bihar: Samrat Chaudhary

This is the first time during the ongoing general elections that the BJP has spoken about its job promise

With the election fervour high throughout the country during the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has now promised 10 lakh government jobs before the 2024 state assembly elections in Bihar.

Bihar BJP chief and state Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Friday said that the state government aspires at complying with its promise of providing 10 lakh jobs.

This is the first time during the ongoing general elections that the BJP has spoken about its job promise in any state.

Earmarking a time frame for achieving the landmark of ten lakh government jobs, Chaudhary said the target shall be achieved well before state assembly polls scheduled for 2025.

“The Bihar government will stand up to the promise of providing ten lakh government jobs made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar,” Chaudhry said.

Taking a dig at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Chaudhry said “This is not Lalu’s government whose actions would not match their words.”

Not mincing any words, Chaudhary claimed the present dispensation in Bihar was committed to compiling a list of beneficiaries of the largescale government recruitment.

“The list will contain minute details about the beneficiaries including names and other personal details for verification”, he said.

Notably, during the campaign for the Lok Sabha polls 2024, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has reiterated a number of times as to how he, as Bihar deputy chief minister provided five lakh government jobs.

Even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, too has claimed credit for the largescale recruitment of teachers into the state education department as he personally distributed appointment letters at a major event organised by the state government at the Patna Gandhi Maidan, recently.

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav hit out at the Nitish Kumar government, claiming what he achieved in 17 months as far as providing government jobs is concerned outshines 17 years of NDA at the helm in Bihar.
